Changing the Ready Time for a Prescription
At any point in Workflow, you can change a prescription's Ready Time. The prescription will be re-sorted on the Workbench based on its new Ready Time.
There are several locations from which you can change a prescription's Ready Time.

Before a prescription is processed into Rx Detail, its Ready Time can be changed from the Intake window.
When multiple prescriptions are processed into Intake, the Ready Time for the first prescription will be copied to all other prescriptions in the Intake window. If a Ready Time is entered for any prescription besides the first, it will not be copied over. You can manually change the Ready Time for each prescription if needed.
-
Process the prescription into the Intake window.
-
At the top, below the patient's information, choose a new Ready Time from the dropdown, or select the calendar button
to choose a specific date and time.
-
Priority - assumes a 10 minute Ready Time. This Ready Time supersedes all others and appears at the top of the prescription grid.
-
Waiting - assumes a 10 minute Ready Time. Prescriptions with this Ready Time are prioritized below Priority prescriptions but above Overdue prescriptions.
-
Tomorrow - assumes a 24-hour Ready Time (from the current time).

At any point in Workflow (i.e., Data Entry, Packaging, Technical Validation, Clinical Review), you can update the Ready Time for a single prescription.
-
Process the prescription from the Workbench or Patient Profile.
-
In the information bar at the top, modify the date and/or time in the Ready Time section to the right.
-
If Priority or Waiting was previously selected for the prescription, the Ready Time will display that label, instead of the Due time
-
You cannot assign a Priority or Waiting Ready Time from Workflow. To do this, you must change the Ready Time from the Workbench or Parked Rx tile.
-
Owe Balance Ready Times
Owe Balances cannot have their Ready Times changed. If several prescriptions including an Owe Balance are selected on the Workflow Workbench or Parked Rx tile, the Ready Time assignment will not affect the Owe Balance. If only Owe Balances are selected, the Ready Time button will behave as if no prescriptions were selected (i.e., the option to change the default Ready Time comes up).
